What a beauty New Year's Eve 2023!!!

Crazy excited to tell y’all about my new year’s eve. It was such memorable moment that I’ve never tried before. In last December, means December 31st 2022, My friends and I decided to camp in Anak Kaki Gunung Wilis, Jawa Timur. Fyi, Anak Kaki Gunung Wilis has a height of 1500mdpl, so it is quite safe for beginner.

We prepared only 7 hours and start to go at 8pm. It such a random, fast, and super crazy trip!!! We rent some tents, bought some meals, and riding to go there.

Riding from the boarding house to the camping site was approximately 2 hours. It was quite extreme because both sides of the forest and roads were very quiet, even though it was New Year's Eve. Fortunately, the trip went smoothly and there were no problems at all.

At 10.00pm

Arriving at the campsite, everything was really full. Actually, I was a bit worried that we won't get a place, because we are not prepared and haven't made a reservation. But luckily again, the camp officials were looking for a place, and it turned out that there were still 2 places left. Yeay, perfect fit! Indeed, we only need 2 tents. Again and again, alhamdulillah, everything really went smoothly and made it easy.

At 11.30pm

After the tents were set up, we moved to go to fireworks place. Yes of course, it was the moment that I have been waiting for... we counted 3,2,1, and loudly spoke “Happy New Year” and watched numerous beauty fireworks from the high place:1500mdpl. Supeer Happy and feelin' cold due to the weather, and it made really romantic moment HAHAHA

OMG!!! Starting a year with beauty moment! Finally, one of my bucket list has been checked-list! alhamdulillah33x!!

At 6.00am

In the morning, after wakey from sweet night, we drank morning coffee and breakfast. Berrrr.. it was really cold, dude! After all done, we watched beauty sunrise <3

At 10.00am

The adventure wasn't over yet, after all the tidying up, we went to the 2nd destination, which was the Dolo Waterfall. The location was not far from the camping site. The height of the waterfall is 1800 mdpl. To see the waterfall, we have passed approximately 10,000 steps. It was really exhausted, tbh, I want to die :( my legs were shaking. But I didn't regret it because it really paid off after seeing how beauty the waterfall was. Yeap we played water there. YEAY!

It was the first memorable moment of the year for me. I want to thank my friends who made it happen. I am really grateful. Hope we can camp on another occasion! See you guys! Bye!
